Watch Crux: A Story of love and life’s battles by Carlo Alcos. The film is about popular Kootenay climber David Bristow’s recovery after he broke his back in 2000 and his partner Anni Muhlegg’s recover from breast cancer.

The film’s summary is: Climbing is a metaphor for life. For the challenges, the ups, the downs. The excitement, the disappointment. The focus. How, one day you feel strong, like you can conquer anything, and the next, you feel like you’re flailing.

This is a story of two climbers, two people in love, who face the hardest of life’s obstacles, and how they overcome them together.
