Watch Spectacular Effort on Big Verdon Multi-Pitch

Watch Steve McClure (Britain’s top sport climber) and Neil Mawson (E10-conquering dark horse) on a dizzying Verdon Gorge multi-pitch in this film by Rich Heap and Ben Pritchard.

The two top climbers rappelled into a 250-metre route they thought was 5.12 and they find themselves way off route and have to dig deep to find success.

The climb heads up a steep and solid limestone wall through caves, corners and over bulges.

“I’m always gonna be tired when I get back from a trip with Steve,” said Mawson.
