Climbers Try to Campus a 5.13d/14a Sport Route

Stefano Ghisolfi and Will Bosi challenge themselves to climbing a steep route without their feet

Stefano Ghisolfi recently made the first ascent of Excalibur, a long-term project which he graded 5.15c. Read about his hard fought send here.

During his projecting phase on Excalibur with Will Bosi, Ghisolfi decided to try a nearby route in Eremo di San Paolo called Gravity Games. “Considering the name of the route, we were under the impression that it would be fun and fitting to see if we could campus it,” said Ghisolfi.

Climber Josh Mick jokingly commented, “Mom, the comp kid campusing my projects discovered rock outside the gym, too.”
