Throwback Thursday: Pietro Biagini Sends Historic 5.14

In this short film, Pietro Biagini sends the historic Ombra 5.14 at Rocca di Perti in Finale Ligure, Italy.
The route was bolted by Betta Belmonte and Andrew Gallo in the late 1980s and freed by Gallo in 1988.
The steep route was considered one of the hardest routes in Europe and wasn’t repeated for 14 years by Cristian Brenna. For more images visit here.
