Watch Bird’s Eye View of Calculus Crack 5.8 in Squamish

Watch bird’s eye view of climbers on the five-pitch Calculus Crack 5.8 on the Apron in Squamish. The first ascent was back in 1966 by Fred Beckey and D. Beckstead and variation first pitches have been added.

This climb starts on Baseline Ledge on the north buttress of the Apron, then climbs up treed ledges to a few fun slab/crack pitches to a low-angle top-out. There are a few tricky slab and crack moves, but if you’re a confidant trad climber then you’d be fine on this classic.
