Watch Climber Stick Wild V10 Dyno 20-Feet Off the Ground

Kentucky Derby is a new problem climbed in the Calico Bason Boulders of Red Rock

Western Canada-based Matt Hendsbee recently repeated Kentucky Derby V10 in Red Rock’s Ash Canyon, which was first climbed by Taylor McNeill last month.

“Took a lot of rehearsing on a rope to build up to doing it with the pads,” said Hendsbee, who thanked Kelsey Fleming, Stephen Salvador, Elizabeth Wishart, Miles Adamson and Noah Wishart for carrying in the nine pads required for the send.

The tall problem has a sideways dyno 20 feet off the deck, which you can see Hendsbee stick in the video below released by Adamson on his Choss Media YouTube channel.

About the first ascent, McNeill said, “This has got to be the craziest move I’ve ever done this high off the ground… Without a doubt one of my proudest ascents yet. I’ve spent a lot of time exploring here the past month and found, or been told about, a number of really cool projects. I’ve been lucky enough to put down a few of these projs and add some classics to this already stacked area.”
