Watch Climbers Bag 18 4,000-metre Peaks in a Push

The two alpinists set a new record along the famous Spaghetti Tour

In 2020, Nico Hojac and Adrian Zurbrügg set a new speed record on the Spaghetti Tour, as they climbed 18 4,000-metre peaks in just 13 hours and 39 minutes. The two Swiss alpinists started at 11 p.m. and managed to end their tour at around 12 a.m, after completing 29 kilometres of distance and 4,500 vertical metres.

The Spaghetti Tour is a traverse of the Monte Rosa group, starting in Cervinia and ending in Gressoney. With four overnight stopovers in mountain huts on the Italian side, this traverse is usually done over a number of days.
